One of the benefits of living abroad is that you get to see media in a different perspective. My roommate usually watches the Egyptian TV channels, and over the past 2 months, this song has been playing over and over and over again. I've always had soundtracks for various times in my life: songs or CDs that dominated periods of time, and are forever linked in my mind to the memories from that specific time and place.
