Corny, but effective

We were doing a group of lessons on giving directions. So, I played this video for the kids and then I put a glue stick at the far end of the classroom and various kids tried to give me directions to get to there.

My co-teacher Rana seemed skeptical of the operation (she's got a bit of naysayer in her, I think). But, I went ahead with it anyways, and, sure enough, the kids were laughing and having a good time with it. Most of them had me bumping into chairs and other kids, and some of them were laughing too hard to get me to go the right way. It was pretty simple, cause they just had to tell me commands to turn right or left, and then go straight and stop.

In other news, it's Children's Day this Wednesday, which means that I don't have to work until Thursday. I'm utilizing my time to finish my EDU 272 class for Pima, and plan out some lessons and try to figure out how to get my lost driver's license replaced without having to travel all the way back to Texas. Good luck...
