An older Korean friend of a friend told me how to say "let's go" (formally) the other night after I'd said to him "let's go" (informally), because respect for your elders is really important in Korean culture.
However, I misheard him when he spoke, so that when I went to say "let's go" to him again (but this time, formally), I accidentally said "Let's sleep together" (formally).
It definitely breaks my personal record for cultural exchange faux pas.
