There was a volleyball game at our school during the last period on Thursday (btw, the work week is Sun.-Thurs. out here), and I figured instead of studying English we could do some tattoos and go watch the game. This is Ali. He's from Iran. His English is growing by leaps and bounds, and his large amounts of personality have a lot to do with it.
It was actually Momoka's idea that we do the tattoos (she's from Japan), but she chose the smallest one. I'm a little worried about her actually. She seems like someone who thrives on gossip, which is a bit unfortunate for
Diana, who's super trusting and just answers whatever probing questions Momoka has. Fortunately, it's just 6th grade. How bad could things get, right?
Anyhoo, Diana's from Korea. She likes to speak Korean with me. A lot. I would say our conversations are 50% English 50% Korean.
This is my pirate face, I guess. Not sure what I was going for. Also, I don't know if you noticed, but it was also Inside-Out Day. I started it on accident a few Thursdays ago, and I decided to just stick with it and keep telling the kids that that's just how the designers make the shirts that I wear.
