I think the best thing to do is to focus on myself, and what I'm in charge of. I interact with about 300 kids each week, and I'm sure that eventually some of them will become powerful people. Some of them will have a chance to change the world, and maybe when they get there, something I've modeled or taught them will click in their heads.
I don't think this concept applies exclusively to my situation either. I think love, justice, kindness, and respect in any situation can go a long way to making the world a better place. Perhaps it's not the best form of government, but it's a pretty solid personal philosophy. And, perhaps God will not judge us so much on how much we tried to change our government for the better, but on how much we tried to improve ourselves and loved those around us. Here's a cool quote that I stole from another blogger:
When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world.
I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation.
When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.
Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.

Enough of that. Here's a golf course I took a shot of. I was trying to walk home from work, and I found out shortly before this shot that Dubai is not walking-friendly, or bike friendly either.
