We went to this folk village a while back and I got to experience the joys of making Duk, which is basically rice pounded into some kind of pasta-type substance. I pounded the rice with my big mallet, and the old Korean lady wet the rice in between each hit.

Lately, I've been trying to think of what I have left to experience here. I knocked two things off the list in the past couple weeks. I went to a Korean spa, and walked around naked and sat in a bunch of hot pools with a bunch of naked Korean dudes. And then I hit up the PC Bang with my friend last week, which is a really cheap place to play computer games together.

This weekend I'm in Seoul, and my buddy thinks we should go hit up the DMZ. Sounds good to me.
