Yesterday I played the 'What Am I?' game with one of my classes. It's a game where I list some attributes like "I am red" and the kids have to guess what I'm talking about.
The first detail I wrote down was "I have two legs." The second detail I wrote down was "I have no teeth." Immediately hands went up, and I called on one of the kids.
"Grandmother!" the kid shouted. I began laughing so hard that the kids thought maybe they were really close with that guess, so they started shouting "Grandfather!" as well.
I regained composure and said, "No, not grandmother or grandfather."
"Uncle?" one little girl asked.
Ah, the pure logic of children.
