Let's start where we left off...

Camp continued with more pranks.

I inadvertently pissed some of my kids off by hiding under one of their beds before lights out, and then waiting there for 5 minutes past lights out before reaching out from under the bed, grabbing one of their arms, and yelling loudly.

My kids would often talk about how such a prank needed to be avenged, although little was done. I had begun sleeping on a couch in the lounge since my bed was a piece of crap, and promises kept on coming that I would soon get what was coming to me, especially now that I had moved my sleeping quarters to a common area.

A day or so before the last day of camp, I left a message for my boys outside the lounge that went something along the lines of, "Blah blah blah blah, do your worst," as I was quite sure there was little they could do, and it seemed that rubbing it in their faces was an appropriate response.

The last day of camp I was pelted with 15 or so water balloons by my own kids. I wasn't so disappointed in their lack of loyalty as I was in my lack of commitment to keep them so terrified of me that they would never even think to do something like that.
